Challenge
The intersection of life coaching and AI is rapidly growing, driven by increased demand for personalized, tech-driven solutions. Mojo Crowe's app aims to address diverse challenges by proposing the integration of an AI-driven Mojo assistant. However, the absence of personalized guidance impedes effective problem-solving, necessitating the development of a tool that offers tailored support.
Project Objective
Demonstrate the viability of Mojo Assistant with a proof of concept.
Deliverables:
Conduct research to determine the relationship between AI, content, exercise, interventions, journaling, and mood-tracking.
Compile and comprehend challenges encountered by our members and individuals interested in self-development to identify and understand the hurdles faced by our members and those keen on self-improvement.
Design a solution that effectively integrates AI with existing app features.
Present findings to validate the concept.
Provide high-fidelity wireframes illustrating the proposed solution.
Approach
As the Research Team Lead, I implemented a Human-Centered Design approach by:
Conducting thorough research to understand users' goals, behaviors, and pain points.
Developing empathy for users to create solutions that truly meet their requirements.
Employing an iterative design process, creating prototypes tested with users to refine designs based on feedback.
Emphasizing collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to ensure diverse perspectives were considered.
Designing solutions tailored to users' needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
Gathering continuous feedback from users using usability testing, A/B testing, and other evaluation methods.
Considering ethical implications to ensure the product respects users' privacy, autonomy, and well-being.
Existing Research Synthesis
Conducting exploratory research on AI to better understand the technology.
Performing competitor analysis to comprehend the landscape.
Analyzing existing insights on user behavior.
Analyzing the app content to gain insights into the current offerings and content.
Outcome
Interviews were conducted with both current app users and non-app users. The interview scripts were meticulously reviewed with stakeholders for alignment prior to commencement. Subsequently, interviews were transcribed before analysis. Insights highlighted users' priorities, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.
Synthesis of User Insights, Challenges, and Ideation
User insights emphasized enhanced connectivity, trust in data privacy, and app usability. Challenges identified encompassed UI/UX enhancements, content discovery, and AI integration, among others. Ideation focused on diverse feature conceptualization for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) aligned with user preferences.
